Arthritis is the inflammation of one or more of your joints with the main symptoms including joint pain and stiffness. There are several different forms of arthritis that present a variety of signs and symptoms. These forms are listed below with some of the common symptoms associated with them.
- Osteoarthritis: This is the most common form of arthritis and is often referred to as wear-and-tear arthritis. With this condition, the cartilage that is on the ends of the bones wears away. This continues to worsen as the cartilage continues to wear away.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: Rheumatoid arthritis typically affects the joints of the hand and feet and is a chronic inflammatory disease. This form of arthritis can cause painful swelling and joint deformation by targeting the lining of the joint.
